1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Cassidy Motors website and the services we provide. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

Cassidy Motors is a trading name of Richard Cassidy & Sons Motors, operating from Unit 13 Knockmitten Lane, Western Industrial Estate, Dublin 12, D12 YV34, Republic of Ireland.

2. Services

Cassidy Motors provides automatic gearbox and transmission repair, servicing, diagnostics, and related automotive services. All work is carried out at our Dublin 12 workshop unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any vehicle or customer where, in our professional opinion, the work requested is not feasible, safe, or economically viable. We will always discuss alternatives with you before proceeding.

3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. Prices are quoted in Euro (€) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Final invoices may vary from initial quotations if additional faults are discovered during inspection, or if parts prices change due to supplier costs.

We will always contact you for approval before carrying out any work that exceeds the original quotation by more than 10%.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash, credit card, and debit card payments. Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received and cleared.

5. Warranty

All gearbox rebuilds and major repairs are covered by our warranty against defective workmanship and parts, subject to the terms outlined at the time of service. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations.

Warranty claims must be reported promptly and the vehicle must be made available for inspection at our workshop. Any remedial work under warranty must be carried out by Cassidy Motors.

6. Liability

Cassidy Motors shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under Irish law.

7. Vehicle Storage

Vehicles left with us for more than 30 days after completion of work may be subject to a daily storage charge. After 90 days, we reserve the right to dispose of the vehicle in accordance with Irish law, having given reasonable notice to the owner.
